School Uniform

We believe that our uniform encourages a sense of pride in appearance and a feeling of belonging to the school family. This assists in developing high standards in other aspects of school life. All children are expected to wear our uniform and the rules concerning uniform are very clear and continually enforced.

Appearance 

Haircuts

It is expected that haircuts will be conventional and that children are presented in a smart way.

Jewellery

Jewellery items (including friendship and wrist bands) are not allowed for safety reasons.

The only exception is one pair of small plain stud earrings (earrings must not be worn for PE. If a child cannot remove their earrings, they will be covered with tape).

Nail Varnish and Make Up 

Are not permitted.

Uniform List

Basic uniform:

• Black trousers (girls or boys)
• Black pinafore dresses or black skirts
• White polo shirt or white shirt/blouse
• Red jumper or red cardigan  
• Red and white school dresses (summer months)
• Black shorts or cullottes (summer months)
• Black or grey socks (boys) 
• White or grey socks, or grey tights (girls)
• Black school shoes - no trainers

PE Kit - Standard:

• PE bag (red)
• White school T-shirt
• Black shorts
• Plimsolls (indoor PE only) 

PE Kit - Outdoor:

• A warm tracksuit (preferably black)
• Outdoor trainers 

Purchasing School Uniform

Please note that the product images do not show logos where applied, but your uniform will arrive with the school logo applied if applicable. 

Uniform is delivered to school free of charge or direct to home for a small charge.

Please note that alternative suppliers can be used, such as supermarkets and clothing stores.  Logo badges can be purchased from the school office to affix to plain uniform as required.

Uniform Badges

Iron on/sew on badges are available from the school office to purchase for £2.00 each (please contact hollycroft@owlsacademytrust.co.uk if you would like to purchase these).

Lost Property

Please ensure that your child's uniform is clearly labelled as this will ensure items are returned to your child and are not lost.

Please check with your child's teacher or the school office if you have lost an item.  Any unnamed lost property will be disposed of at the end of each school term.
